Moto Z and Z Force are the first phones other than Google Pixel to support Daydream VR
It's happening...
Good news Android users, it was recently announced that support for the VR headset, Daydream View, has reared its head - starting with Motorola's Moto Z/Z Force.
Since its announcement a couple of months ago, the Daydream View has been eagerly awaited despite the fact it's primarily for Pixel phones. Duh. Its build, design, and use of controller is what makes it an easy contender alongside the Gear VR. As our App Spy video-whizz James Gilmore stated in a previous podcast – it'd be like popping a brassiere on your head. Mm, comfy.
Given its much cheaper price tag, the quality of the headsets will never be as impressive as the Oculus/Vive, but they're still a nice little add-on for mobile gaming enthusiasts. With Apple still yet to explore VR and Samsung still licking its wounds, the VR market's wide-open for Google to set up camp.
All they need is support for more mobiles.
