Draws a strategic line toward your favourite handheld platforms

Vector TD launches on iPhone

Developer Candystand let us know a short while back that its Flash web hit Vector TD was making its way toward iPhone, and just launched over on the App Store today.

Vector TD is a simple, but surprisingly deep, tower defence game that borrows casually from retro-themed games like Geometry Wars, and enjoys a stylish air of Tron as you attempt to gun down the legions of two-by-two enemies streaming through the grid-work levels.

What's also exciting about Vector TD is that it's coming to PSP Minis in the new year, with an expected early January arrival in Europe and toward February for the US. Keep an eye on the PlayStation Store, and we'll give you a nod when it goes live.

You can also get a bit of practice in on the web version, though it works beautifully on iPhone so hit the App Store button to go check out Vector TD if you're a tower defence fan.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
