Favourite friendly purple dragon returns for second title in planned trilogy

The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night announced for DS and GBA

Vivendi has revealed that the sequel to A New Beginning and the second instalment in its Legend of Spyro trilogy is set to appear this autumn on DS and Game Boy Advance as part of the publisher's Christmas line-up.

No details of The Eternal Night were given, according to the report in today's issue of UK trade mag MCV, other than the fact Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman are again providing their voice talent to the production.

We'll fly back as soon as we have more details and images, but it could be one to look out for – we enjoyed its predecessor and expect this latest outing for the little dragon to be refined further still.
