Konami unleashes pocket gaming avalanche at Leipzig

DS + PSP

To say that handheld gaming is hot in Japan right now would be akin to saying England fans were mildly disappointed at getting knocked out of the World Cup.

Considering the love of all things pocket-sized in the land of the rising sun it's hardly surprising that the countries major publishers are getting behind the PSP and DS in a big way.

Nonetheless Konami's showcase at the Leipzig Game convention has caused quite a stir. Even considering that many of the titles had previously been announced, when you see them all gathered in one place it's all a bit much. In fact we're pretty sure one nameless PSP editor muttered under his breath, "we're going to need a bigger boat".
