After a rather lackluster 2010, EA Mobile seems to have got its stuff together in 2011.

With the iOS versions of Dead Space successfully launched alongside the console release of Dead Space 2, it's now announced the iPhone and iPad versions of Fight Night Champion - again these are due alongside the console versions, sometime in early 2011.

Indeed, it will be the first time EA has bought its boxing franchise to iOS, with this version including a physics-based animation system incorporating locomotion, punching and stamina mechanics.

Recover the power

In this way, you'll be able to play mini games inbetween rounds to build back your fighter's health, spend in-game points for automatic recovery, or save them for later in the fight.

Of course, the ability to play as real fighters such as Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Gotto and Evander Holyfield will provide much of the game's appeal, while real world locations will also be present and correct.

You can get an idea how good Fight Night Champion should appear in the following screenshots.
