Chillingo's slick physics-based head scratcher Feed Me Oil has slipped onto the New Zealand App Store.

Your mission in Feed Me Oil is crudely simple: guide oil into the mouths of assorted monsters. Doing it, however, isn't quite so elementary.

In many ways reminiscent of World of Goo or even one of those old mercury-based puzzle games, Feed Me Oil requires forethought and careful control to deliver the gunk to its destination.

You'll have to direct the petroleum through a world of fans and magnets, paying due attention to gravity to slosh your way to the goal.

Feed Me Oil is available in New Zealand right now, and will hit the US and UK stores later this evening. The iPad version is priced at £1.19 / $1.99 / €1.59, with the iPhone version at 59p / 99c / €0.79.

Look out for our review of Feed Me Oil up on the site soon. In the meantime, take a peep at the video below to get an idea of how Feed Me Oil plays out.
