LocoRoco wins two at the BAFTA video games awards
|
N-Gage + DS + Game Boy ...

Earlier this week we told you who was up for a video games BAFTA at the venerable British institution's revamped annual ceremony. We even (foolishly) predicted the winners.

Last night we went along to said awards at London's Roundhouse venue, where we lived up to previous visitors like Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones by making far too much noise, albeit in our case by cheering too loudly for the various handheld contenders. (Host Vernon Kay even whispered "Shh!" at us, albeit with his famously toothy smile).

And this morning we're back with sore heads and hoarse throats to tell you the winners. Pocket games did relatively well, too, with LocoRoco, Electroplankton and 24: The Mobile Game all picking up a coveted BAFTA mask.
