Rumour: Apple to reveal iOS 5.0 at media event next month

German Apple site Macerkopf.de has suggested that Apple will reveal the new version of its mobile operating system next month.
The site's source claims that iOS 5.0 and new MobileMe features will be revealed at an Apple media event in April.
The fact that iOS 4.0 was revealed on April 8th last year would suggest it's not a particularly outlandish rumour.
Among the expected changes to the operating system are improvements to the obtrusive notification system as well as closer links with MobileMe social services. BGR
