RedLynx, the Finnish developer behind the Pathway to Glory series and platinum-tinged Reset Generation, has revealed iOS platformer 1000 Heroz.

A cross between a high score running game and traditional platformer, this original iPhone and iPod touch title promises a whopping 1,000 days worth of content.

Each day a new level unlocks in which your goal is to make it through as fast as possible. Naturally, there are objects in each level that help or hinder your progress, including trampolines, air vents, and pitfalls.

Completing a level nets you a nifty relic and allows you to post a high score online. Along with a new level, you're given access to a new hero and relic every day. These range from the ordinary - fur coat, lounge chair - to the eccentric - pocket knife with a revolver, world's deadliest joke.

Leaderboard and achievements are promised, along with special password-protected leagues for competing with your buddies.

1000 Heroz will be available for iPhone and iPod touch this summer - no price has yet been announced.
