Mobile developer A-Steroids, known for drug-selling sim Underworld on iPhone and Android, has turned its attention to Samsung’s bada OS with new tower defence game, Vampire Rush.

Vampire Rush: The Adventures of Capt. Greg, to give the game its full title, is all about defending the gates that separate the Vampire Underworld and the World of Living, from all sorts of plodding, encroaching nasties.

It’s not just about defensively sitting back, erecting towers, and buying potions, though. You’ll also pop out on to the battlefield and get your hands dirty. Playing as a sort of Van Helsing-a-like, with a massive great sword and a lovely fedora, you’ll deck hell’s minions inbetween setting up turrets.

The game will make its debut on Samsung Wave, where the app has already been submitted for approval and should be available soon, but the developer is working on bringing the game to iPhone and iPad. We’ll let you know when they hit.

A-Steroids also promises to switch back to Underworld when Vampire Rush is all done and dusted, and plans to “hit it hard”, presumably with a handful of new content.
