Introversion Software has just used its 500th tweet to tease Android gamers with the revelation that its cult hacking simulation game Uplink may be coming to Google's mobile platform.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the decade-old Uplink, you play as an agent who makes a living by performing hacking jobs for major corporations.

In Uplink, then, you'll steal, sabotage, launder, erase, and frame your way to the top of the hacking elite.

By pulling off these hacking assignments (without getting caught), you boost your experience level and earn money that you can spend on upgrading your computer systems, software, and tools.

We'll keep you posted on any further developments regarding Uplink on Android.
