Just don't expect it any time soon

Namco game producer Katsuhiro Harada 'considering' bringing Tekken X Street Fighter to PS Vita

Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada is considering making a PS Vita version of Namco's upcoming console crossover beat-'em-up Tekken X Street Fighter.

Responding to a question posted on Twitter asking if the game would make an appearance on Sony's newest handheld, Harada said: "I'm considering now."

That's not a lot to go off, but, hey, it's better than nothing. Or an outright denial.

In conversation with VG247 last month, Harada mentioned that development on the overall Tekken X Street Fighter project hasn't "progressed very much". Don't exactly hold your breath, then, for confirmation of a release date for the Vita version.

Capcom, meanwhile, is putting the finishing touches on Street Fighter X Tekken, the company's own spin on the crossover. This is due out on PS Vita in March, and will feature a special guest appearance from Infamous's anti-hero Cole MacGrath.
