There haven't been too many digital-only releases for PSP yet – No Gravity: The Plague of Mind was perhaps the first in Europe – but it's increasingly going to be the default option come October and the release of PSPgo.

Getting a headstart on the UMD-less action then is Vogster which has just released its arcade-style brawler Unbound Saga onto the North American PlayStation Network.

It's based on a Dark Horse Comic comic book of the same name, and in it you play as the heroic duo of Rick Ajax and Lori Machete who punch, kick and smash their way through level after level of bizarre foes to get to the final show down with The Maker, the comic book creator who shapes their every battle.

See, it's even self-referential media, with The Maker's drawing more bad guys for you to fight through as the ten- level game progresses.

And during his hands on session, Tracy commented, "It's an incredibly stylish side-scroller with beautifully drawn levels and slick touches."

Unbound Saga is rated T for Teen and is available for download from the US PlayStation Network, price $14.99. There's no news of when or if it will come to Europe, however.
