As Shakespeare’s Polonius once remarked, ‘brevity is the soul of wit’. Though we’re pretty sure old Bill didn’t have Twitter on his mind when he penned that aphorism, it is a very useful quote to bear in mind when trying to make the most of Twitter’s punishing 140 character limit.
Indeed, in these heady Web 2.0 (if you can stand that nauseating label) times, Twitter has emerged as one of writing’s newest forms.
Being dedicated scribes ourselves, we’ve been trying to master the art of twittering, tweeting or whatever you want to call it, and so, from now on we are going to be posting our best efforts from the previous week every Monday.
