From geostationary satellites to the wheels on the bus, Kylie on the dance floor or the gyrations of a dog after its tail, circular motion really does make the world go round [Actually, all the planets including the Earth follow an elliptical path – Science Ed]. Combine that with the sensory pleasure of a touchscreen and stylus, and you've surely got the basis for a promising collection of DS mini-games.

At least that's seemingly the thinking behind 505 Games' Turn It Around.

There are 24 mini-rotating experiences on offer, ranging from those that ape real-life activities such as fly-fishing to more abstract events such as transporting guests to the correct floor in Elevator Action, or maintaining your balance in Packed Train.

Other activities revealed so far include moving a platform around in a Breakout clone and hitting the baseball in Pinch Hitter. In each case, you'll need to demonstrate your ability to spin your touchscreen in terms of power, technique and speed.

Turn It Around will also feature three different multiplayer modes, so gamers can 'spin off' against a friend. Sounds good, just so long as the kid-rated game doesn't have a spin the (DS) Bottle mode.

Due to be released sometime during the summer, Turn It Around should be available at a budget price of around £20.
