Turbo Camels explodes onto mobile

Don't get the hump, but Mr.Goodliving's new game has quite a short fuse

Turbo Camels explodes onto mobile

Anyone who's been to the circus recently will know that, quite frankly, it's a bit rubbish. While Pocket Gamer can fondly remember the days when a trip to the big top meant close encounters with savage beasts, jaw-dropping stunts and hilarious freaks, nowadays it seems as though you have to settle for acrobats and clowns with not so much as a lion or bearded-lady in sight… yawn!

Praise be, then, for Mr.Goodliving, which is set to bring back both the savage beasts and death-defying feats in the freakish shape of Turbo Camels: Circus Extreme.

Proclaimed to be "the world's first stunt simulation featuring a mammal of the genus Camelus" (if you now of any previous camel-based stunt games do let us know!), the game reunites Günther and Baldwin, the famous Swedish camel jockey and his mount. Having presumably failed to make their fortune on the racing circuit in the original Turbo Camels, the pair are seeking fame as the world's first "human-camel-cannonball".

Once the fuse has been lit, your task will be to guide the newly-airborne pair through 15 levels, set across 3 themed arenas, performing increasingly outlandish, acrobatic stunts. Initial glimpses suggest a touch of Johnny Crash, but camel-aerodynamics being what they are, we're sure it'll play quite differently. Expect a suitably explosive hands-on preview here soon.
