Jamba brings magic tricks to your mobile

Jamba has announced the launch of five mobile magic trick applications, developed by a company called Trixcell.

They're not games, as such. Instead they're magic tricks that you perform with your phone.

For example, Pyro has five candles onscreen, and you show your phone to a friend and ask them to choose a candle for you to 'blow out'.

Meanwhile, 3Cups involves someone choosing a cup to lift, and you miraculously guessing which colour ball is under it. The other three are Digiwallet, Card Omen and Ticker.

The tricks will be sold in 20 countries around the world, including through Jamster in the UK – you can find them on the site now by searching for the titles.

We met Jamba's games boss Thomas Richter at the Games Convention show in Leipzig this week, and he gave us a demo. We were genuinely impressed – these apps could be the ultimate pub boasting tool in the coming months.

Jamba plans to launch more of Trixcell's apps in the future, too.
