Toy Bot's $10,000 Excellent Adventure starts today

Play all three games and bag some scratch

Toy Bot's $10,000 Excellent Adventure starts today

First off it’s worth pointing out his is a US only offer, so European gamers won’t be eligible for a big bag of Toy Bot Diaries swag. Bah.

For all you lucky Americans, IUGO Mobile is offering a great shortcut out of the recession. All you have to do is collect 75 datapads within the trilogy of games. This involves picking up 25 items in each of the three Toy Bot Diaries games on the same device, then send in an email (also from this same iPhone or iPod touch).

“The Toy Bot Diaries series has been a big hit on Apple’s App Store, so we wanted to go the extra mile and give back to the people who play our games,” says IUGO’s business development executive Sarah Thomson. “This promotion highlights IUGO’s desire to create a unique, fun experience for our players.”

And to sell an extra bucket full of Toy Bot Diaries games, of course (all three of which are Pocket Gamer Silver Award winners, as it happens). But the promise of finding a golden ticket inside one of the game’s wrappers is undeniably enticing.

There’ll also be ten second place prizes of $100 iTunes vouchers, and one third place winner will be given free access to all future IUGO iPhone games (sounds preferable to the $100 voucher, to us).

So check out the video below to clue yourself in, then get playing. You’ve got until March 16th to bag all 75 datapads.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
