Totally Spies! 2: Undercover emerges for GBA and DS

At the risk of destroying our credibility with the super-hip Parisian six-year old market (hey guys, can't we be your cool older cousins or something?) we're not familiar with French TV production company Marathon's Totally Spies telly show.

But a new Game Boy Advance game is a new Game Boy Advance game. And once a GBA fan has exhausted classic fare like The Legend of Zelda and Advance Wars, he or she is firmly marooned in the beggars can't be choosers category.

More likely she, in this instance, we suspect: Totally Spies! 2: Undercover catapults Clover, Alex and Sam – 'three stereotypical Beverly Hills girls', we're informed – into the thrilling world of international espionage, where only wit, attitude and high-tech gadgets can save the day.

In practice, Totally Spies! 2: Undercover aims to combine elements of platforming, racing, puzzling, shooting and fighting. Some 25 levels of 'sneaking, dodging and chasing down evil international men of mischief' are promised by the publisher, at least one bit of which does indeed call to mind the L.A. women we've met over the years.

Due out on GBA in November, a DS version is also apparently in production, but we've not spotted any screens of that yet. We'll get spying!
