Ring toss game game launched for the iPhone
Simplicity opens up a game to genuine addictiveness, so it's reassuring to see a developer make an effort to adapt one of the simplest forms of entertainment to the iPhone.
You have to use your finger to move a peg around the screen, and catching different colours of falling tori awards a different amount of points. While simplicity is the key here, Torus also lifts itself above the norm by providing dynamic audio - with each ring toss being audible in 3D space.
Wearing headphones is therefore a prerequisite with this game, as listening to the tori bouncing about the place really adds depth to such an elementary game.
