New Tomb Raider game announced exclusively for mobile phones

Red-blooded mobile gamers are being well and truly spoilt this week. First we get the perky Paris Hilton unveiling her gaming wares solely for mobile phones, and now the lovely Lara Croft is also offering her exclusive services for the format.

As if the news that Miss Croft's latest console adventure Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legends was coming to your handset wasn't enough, you're now going to get a second exclusive outing in the form of Tomb Raider: Puzzle Paradox.

Due for release in July, the game sees Lara using all her puzzle-solving skills to crack three different styles of puzzle – one with a sudoku influence, one involving lights and mirrors, and one matching runes and symbols.

Based loosely around themes from the Legends game, Puzzle Paradox also features cut-scenes of Lara in action, which tie the different tasks together and generate a sequential storyline.

All of which seems to rather set up a mobile battle of the babes this summer, with Paris and Lara wrestling for top spot in the casual gaming charts. Who'll come out on top? Quite frankly, who cares? We just want to watch – click 'Track It!' to book your ringside seat!
