NimbleBit's popular iOS hit Tiny Tower has been updated with a host of new features, but unfortunately it isn't all good news.

The update introduces several bugs, which the game's developer has already submitted fixes for.

"There were a few bugs introduced in this update, we've submitted fixes that should be available soon, please wait to update."

The good news

Forgetting those pesky bugs for just a second, the update also sees the inclusion of a brand new VIP, who will move one of your bitizens (your tower's inhabitants) into any apartment of your choosing.

If you were getting bored of the same old businesses you'll also be pleased to hear that there are five new ones ready to be discovered.

Furthermore, not only will your game now be saved more frequently, but it's now saved in un-encrypted device backups.

Finally, Bux store connectivity improvements and sound issue fixes are included, with the ability to auto-scroll to the peak of your tower by tapping the top of your screen also rearing its head.

Tiny Tower was recently included in Pocket Gamer's top 10 best freemium games for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

You can download the Universal app from the App Store for free, but it's probably best to hold off until the upcoming fixes are in place.
