Nightmare Before Christmas comes to mobile

God bless Tim Burton. He's one of the most imaginative film-makers on the planet, he remade Willy Wonka without it being rubbish, and he has hair that makes even Russell Brand look like a short back'n'sides square. Respect.

Anyway, he's also the man we have to thank for Nightmare Before Christmas, one of the quirkiest Christmas films ever. It's now getting a mobile game, courtesy of Disney Mobile Studios.

The all action-puzzler sees Jack Skellington hunting down the presents nicked by Oogie Boogie and scattered around Halloween Town. In other words, it's a recipe for 100 levels of brain-bending action.

You'll be fighting off skeletons, witches and zombies, while shifting pumpkins, mirrors and tentacled monsters out of your path (and tentacled monsters take some moving, as we discovered last time we cleaned the bathroom).

The game also features visuals and sound in tune with the original film. Nightmare Before Christmas looks set to be a treat, so click 'Track It' for an alert when we review the game, ahem, before Christmas.
