Not that you'd sit on the bus and play one of those wooden marble maze games, but oeFun's new Tilt Me game for the iPhone and iPod touch means you can now slake all your ball rolling desires using Apple's motion-sensing handset.

Guiding up to three marbles around a maze by tilting the handset (it's not just a clever title) definitely sounds simple enough to suit the casual games market, but also sounds just stimulating enough to become annoyingly addictive.

Each marble must meet a different target simultaneously to reach the next level, although oeFun has added a function to let you skip the mazes that start to infuriate.

It also tells us that, on occasion, you might even have to hold the handset upside down to complete a maze, and while this does sound like distinctly dynamic and entertaining interaction, holding your iPhone over your head and rattling it around at the bus stop could make those levels prohibitively embarrassing.

On the other hand, Tilt Me is one of the cheapest games with the smallest files sizes currently in the App Store, so it's not going to be a big deal if you only feel confident enough to take it out in private.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
