The Witcher: Versus, a new iPhone MMO based on PC game The Witcher, has hit the New Zealand App Store.

Your mission is to become a feared dueller by defeating other players from around the world. Various character classes are on offer to help you complete your task, such as Witcher, Sorceress, and Frightener – all of which can be customised.

Completing challenges will allow you to loot new weapons, amulets, and magical items used to improve your character' skills and abilities.

Publisher Chillingo's own social gaming network Crystal is on hand for achievements. You can use your iPhone profile to continue playing on the Web browser version of the game.

The Witcher: Versus should be available in the UK around midnight for a special introductory price of 59p / 99c.
