Original physics hit The Incredible Machine reconstructed on iPad

One of the very first physics puzzlers, The Incredible Machine, has arrived on the App Store courtesy of the original developers behind the 1993 PC hit.

Often regarded as laying down the foundations for modern titles like Casey’s Contraptions, The Incredible Machine involves setting up a variety of physics-affected constructions to achieve a series of silly objectives - like catching cats in baskets or guiding rats to safety.

The original game has popped up in a number of greatest puzzle game lists over the years thanks to its ingenious level design and originality, so it comes to the new platform with a strong pedigree behind it.

We’ll be taking a look at the iPad version soon, but in the meantime The Incredible Machine is available from the App Store for £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39.

You can downloaded it using the button just below this text. Yep, that's the one.
