Halfbot's vertical jumper The Blocks Cometh has been reduced in price and updated with a bunch of new goodies.

Along with four new characters to unlock, the developer has added three new modes of play: a fast-paced Arcade mode, a slower Casual mode, and Gamebot mode.

The latter is available through in-app purchase for 59p / 99c / €0.79, and unlocks a special old skool version of the game - complete with accompanying retro sounds.

For another 59p / 99p / €0.79, you can instantly unlock the full roster of available characters. Much easier.

Change the landscape

You can also expect an updated soundtrack, several speed improvements, mandatory bug fixes, and over 30 Game Center achievements in this latest refresh.

Finally, landscape support has been added, which will hopefully remedy the cramped control issues discussed in our 6/10 review of the game.
