The Birds swoops onto mobile

Hitchcock's creepy classic is coming to your phone

The Birds swoops onto mobile

Getting pooed on by a pigeon is darn irritating, but at least they're not swooping down trying to kill you. Which is why nobody's (yet) suggested sticking plump manky-toed London pigeons in a remake of The Birds.

Happily, pigeons don't feature in The Birds: Evil Has Wings either.

A new game from Ojom based on the classic Hitchcock horror film, it sees you stuck in an isolated town, threatened by a vicious flock of black crows (presumably they're angry that music fans still prefer Hard To Handle to their newer stuff).

Your job is to rescue the town from feathery doom, with a blend of action and strategy. You can divert the evil birds by setting bins alight and busting open fire hydrants, or jump into parked cars and rubbish skips if you're more of a big cowardly custard.

Will the game be as full of suspense as the film it's based on? You'll have to wait for our review to find out.
