The Bad Girls Club 3G brings reality TV to an even smaller screen

Generally, we try to uphold the utmost standards of balanced sober journalism here at Pocket Gamer. But if there is one phenomenon that prompts us to forget our objectivity completely, it's the cult of the so called 'it girls'.

Otherwise known as those brainless harridans who are generally as narcissistic as they are uninteresting, we see no use for the likes of Paris Hilton besides using pictures of her and her ilk to decorate our dart board.

Which is why a game where you can stir up a whole house of these wannabe self-important social parasites into a hell-broth of fist fights, furniture-breaking and screeching tantrums sounds perversely appealing to us. We're harsh like that.

Based on the American reality TV show of the same name, The Bad Girls Club 3G is a mobile game in which you fill the shoes of the newest member of a Big Brother style house, where you must do your best to cause as much notoriety and compete with the other bad girls on the show for the cameras' attention.

Cause enough domestic unrest and you will eventually be awarded the dubious accolade of baddest girl in the house.

The game looks like it's as feature packed as it is filled with pretty 3D visuals, tabloid headlines to track your progress, combo attacks, secret items and reward videos for those with a talent for belligerence.

The idea of reducing the characters of a real-life reality TV show to simple playthings on a mobile game is certainly compelling, if somewhat sinister. With the aptly named Artificial Life at the helm (the same company that made the America's Next Top Model mobile game), this could turn out to be a sadistic but fun little sim-fest.
