Cue sudden universal acceptance of Tapulous rhythm-action title

Rumours of Tap Tap Revenge Coldplay edition

Rumours that depressed British crooners Coldplay will be launching their own themed version of the popular music/rhythm game Tap Tap Revenge are currently going around the iPhone circles, suggesting it could be with us any day now.

This wouldn’t be the first time Tap Tap Revenge has dedicated itself to a band’s back catalogue, with a Nine Inch Nails version and a Christmas Weezer special having already been released. Both the previous premium editions weighed in at £2.99, in contrast to the free original that, to be honest, features just as good music and you don’t feel quite so whorish playing it.

Presumably, of course, any new themed editions of Tap Tap Revenge will be built upon the improved Tap Tap Revenge 2 foundations, which should help add a bit of extra oomph to the gameplay. And while I’m certainly no pop music fan, from what I’ve heard of slow, dreary, whiney Radio 2 golden boys Coldplay, the game will need all the pizzazz it can muster.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
