Win an autographed Les Paul guitar by thrashing your iPod

Tap Tap Revenge: Nine Inch Nails Edition hammered into iPhone

We heard last month how Tapulous was looking to partner its popular iPhone Guitar Hero clone, Tap Tap Revenge, with members of the music industry. Well, its first premium edition of the game, featuring fully licensed songs from industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, is now available on the App Store.

Rather astutely, the developer got over two and a half million gamers hooked on the original title for free, although this spin-off game will set you back a couple (or three) quid. Not a hefty cost for the privilege of thrashing out NIN classics such as 'Discipline', 'Echoplex', '1,000,000', 'Ghosts I-IV' and around nine others.

On top of the hot track list Tapulous is running a competition to win an autographed Les Paul guitar. To enter, all you need to do is submit a score of over 150,000, and the best news is that each score you send in counts as another entry. The more you play, the better your chances. Click 'Buy It!' below for a link to the App Store to get your fingers tap, tap, tapping.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
