Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology aiming to enchant PSP owners this July
Fast-paced, real-time battles await
So, the beautiful and prosperous ancient land of Terresia is being destroyed by the Devourer, a demonic creature. Naturally, it's come from another planet.
Worse, its continuous attacks have nearly toppled the World Tree, creator and protector of Terresia, which uses what remains of its power to summon its world's last hope.
Care to guess who that might be?
And in you come, as a warrior, thief, mage or other higher level class (new and old Tales characters are offered, such as Luke and Tear from the previously released Tales of the Abyss, along with 17 others).
Or at least once you've finished customising your character's attributes – you know, things such as clothing and voice. Obviously, you'll need equipment and weapons, but with over 1,000 items the selection is considerable.
It'll be a long fight, of course. In fact, up to 300 quests are promised, featuring the series' signature Free Run Linear Motion Battle System, which enables you to launch stunning attacks and devastating combos from anywhere on the battlefield. The result we're promised are action-packed, real-time encounters.
The role-playing game, which also lists ad hoc functionality for weapon, armour, ingredients and other item exchanges between players, is currently set for a July release.
