Thimbleweed Park heads to the Nintendo Switch sometime 'soon'
More details coming this week
We've spoken about Thimbleweed Park a few times on Pocket Gamer, but its release still feels like a million miles away. Whilst it may be coming to PS4 in August, its mobile/Switch release is still going to be a little while yet.
Vague, cryptic, puzzling clue about our multiple Thimbleweed Park console announcements next week: https://t.co/gpmFwfMlKX — Ron Gilbert @ GMT (@grumpygamer) July 6, 2017
First covered last year, Thimbleweed Park is an upcoming point-and-click mystery game in which five playable characters must uncover the secrets of the bizarre town. What you think you know may not actually be what you should know you know as this bizarre, little town has you running circles in your own mind.
As Eurogamer reported earlier, both mobile and Switch releases are sticking in the 'coming soon' release window, but it's still in active development. That's good news at least.
The information to take away here is that there's supposed to be an announcement of sorts sometime this week regarding consoles. We've had the PS4 dish, now we just need to wait patiently for more Switch/mobile deets.
