An exclusive Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild trailer aired in Japan and fans are kind-of mad about it

As we all know, the Switch launches in just over a week and with it The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But, after a Japan-exclusive trailer aired for just 24 hours, there may have been a few things spoiled that fans wanted to find out on their own.

Still here? Well then, don't say I didn't warn you. Though, in my opinion nothing was really spoiled bar one thing, maybe.

In the trailer, which we've linked a version of above, there's a bunch of little clips all sewn together to make something pretty epic. Cinematics, wide, open expanses, cliff dives that would put Ezio out of business, and the biggest detail of all - Link riding alongside a dragon.

It wasn't only the trailer that created a mild uproar as Nintendo America Tweeted out about it. "The new commercial for The Legend of #Zelda: Breath of the Wild in Japan features something we haven't seen before..."

The comments range from the more sensitive "God damn it, Nintendo, you're not supposed to spoil it!" to the slightly more trolling replies of "Spoiler: game contains Link", and "Spoiler alert: Link defeats Ganon."

There's an ongoing debate in the comments that trailers can give too much away. Though I don't think the trailer is as bad as gamers believe, I definitely understand where they're coming from. After all, it would've been magical to just discover the dragon - a never-before-included creature - without needing a prompt from Nintendo.

What do you guys think? Spoiler? Or not spoiler?
