The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is no longer a Switch release title

Alongside the excitement of the Switch's release we've got one bit of (soft-of) bad news. It looks like The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ won't be making it on the 3rd, but don't fret.

The long-awaited sequel to TBoI: Rebirth, Afterbirth+ released on PC and consoles last month, and announced it'd be a launch title for the Switch not long before. However, a Tumblr post by the developer made it clear that it wasn't going to happen.

It's no big disappointment though as the game's still due for release in March. Tyrone (Nicalis) confirmed that the delay was for reasons 'way beyond their control'.

As well as the release delay, apparently Nicalis will be including a 20-page, full colour instruction booklet in each box, and two limited edition sticker sheets.

We don't have a date just yet for when Afterbirth+ will be knocking at your door, but we'll keep an eye out.
