Check out Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition's first ever English language gameplay
An extended look at a new character
Earlier today, Tokyo Game Show 2018 gifted us the first English language gameplay footage for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition.
As reported by Gematsu, the footage gives us an idea of what to expect from new character Patty Fleur, although it remains unclear if the re-release will feature the original English voice actors for returning characters.
This also marks the first time that the classic title has been available on a handheld system, carrying on the current trend of porting beloved JRPG series' over to Switch - perhaps making Nintendo's system the best place to be for lovers of the genre.
If today's footage wasn't enough for you, then here are some shiny new screenshots to whet your appetite.
So, does the new character, bonus of portability, and the promise of this being the "Definitive Edition" make it worth a second purchase? Or is this re-release purely for those who missed out on Tales of Vesperia the first time around?
Thankfully we won't have to wait too long to find out as Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is set to release on the Switch worldwide on January 11, 2019.
