Back in June we chatted about a suspicious hint Team Meat left on their Twitter regarding Super Meat Boy's Switch debut. Now the news has finally been confirmed - it's coming, folks. It's coming.

Super Meat Boy is a tear-you-hair-out, tough-as-nails indie game that's as much fun as it is frustrating. Controlling a little block of meat, you run and jump from surface to surface all the while avoiding small problems like the rotating blades of certain doom and try to save your girlfriend. D'aww.

The news dropped last night with a 'drop the mic' attitude that makes me want to clap myself into a standing ovation: "Oh by the way..." followed by a picture of the game's Switch display. Given that in less than 24 hours the Tweet's already got over 10k Likes, 2.5k Retweets, and over 400 comments I think you guys might be excited by it.

There's no word yet on when the game'll be dropping or how much it'll be, but we'll keep an eye out.
