Spyro Reignited Trilogy is most likely coming to Switch, so why is Activision still trying to hide it?

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy was briefly listed to be on Switch on its official website before it was quickly taken down (thanks SpyroUniverse for spotting it). Activision has already announced the game for home consoles, but for whatever reason is trying to keep the Switch release under wraps.

It's fairly likely that Spyro will see his remaster on Switch, since another PS1 era mascot game has a similar experience. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was exclusive to PS4 and then arrived to other platforms just last month.

It's not quite clear why Activision wants to keep this obvious release a secret, but perhaps they just don't want to raise expectations in case it doesn't work out. The remaster seems to be in good hands though - it's being made by Toys for Bob, which has some familiarity with Spyro, since it made a number of the Skylanders games.

PS4 and Xbox One owners will be able to play Spyro Reignited Trilogy this September 21st, and we can expect to get our hands on the Switch version shortly afterwards. Probably. Seriously, just announce it already.
