Why the hell isn't the Spyro Reignited Trilogy coming to Switch?

So, Activision has announced that the remastered Spyro trilogy that's been rumoured for the last Christ-knows-how-long is coming out under the name Spyro Reignited Trilogy on PS4 and Xbox One.

Great! Finally. I'm sick of reading the rumours and hype for a game that was basically guaranteed to happen. And yet, my feeling of joy has been dampened somewhat by one important question: where the hell is the Switch version?

Demanding every game should come out on Switch is the coldest of all takes but look: it's Spyro, it's a family game, it would be absolutely perfect.

For some significantly hotter takes on the world of mobile games, check out Harry's Hot Takes, updating each Friday!

It's also worth noting that Toys for Bob is the studio behind the remaster, best known for its work on Skylanders and the Crash Bandicoot remaster on Switch. Yes, the developer is already working on a Switch remaster of a twenty-year-old franchise. Surely there's room for another?

And hell, even from a business perspective it makes sense. Get it out on every platform! You clearly have the capability if you're whacking Crash on there! Come on, people!

Anyway, Spyro Reignited Trilogy launches on every console apart from Switch on September 21st 2018. I can almost guarantee that a Switch edition will eventually be revealed, because they'd be fools not to do that, but for now you'll just have to cross your fingers.
