If you're a fan of the Mana series, this one may get your bloody pumping as its official Twitter account has posted a ten-second video of Seiken Densetsu 3 playing...on the Switch.

SD3 (1995) is the follow-up to the SNES game, Seiken Densetsu 2 - or, Secret of Mana as it was known outside of Japan - and is a much-loved RPG classic.

Originally released on the Super Famicon, SD3 never did get the western release people were hoping for. But, with the Switch's region-free settings, even if it followed the same path the game would be accessible to players globally.

Though there hasn't been an official announcement from Square Enix just yet, the video alone is pretty hard to ignore. Perhaps it'll be part of the Switch's Virtual Console - you know, when it eventually launches.
