Nintendo Switch's Virtual Console won't be with us at launch
Here, take this...in a bit
With the Nintendo Switch's launch only a week away, we're faced with some disappointing news as the Virtual Console won't be launching alongside it.
Nintendo does like to keep things under wraps, but I don't reckon many folks will be surprised by the fact that we'll still have to wait a while yet to delve into those classic titles. Sorry, chaps.
In a press release received today, the company said: "Virtual Console games will not be available on Nintendo Switch at launch. We will share more information in the future." The question is, how long will players have to wait?
After a somewhat sparse launch selection, the Virtual Console was an excellent chance for Nintendo to patch a few holes by ramping up the nostalgia factor. Though, I guess most people might be so engrossed in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that they might not be that bothered.
What do you guys think? Are you disappointed that the Virtual Console won't be touching down next week? Let us know below.
