Nintendo Labo Variety Kit cheats and tips - Accessing all of the ToyCon House minigames
|
| Nintendo Labo

One of the more confusing ToyCon you'll find in the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit is the ToyCon House, which actually has several minigames for you to access, but they're kind of hidden.

You'll need to use the three primary buttons that you can slot into the three slots on the house. The rotating crank, the flippy lever, and the push switch.

Below we've run through where you should place each of them to access all of the House's fun minigames. When we say you can slot them into the side, we mean either side, while, well, there's only one hole on the bottom.

Read on to get the lowdown on how to access all nine of the ToyCon House minigames!

Nintendo Labo

Running wheel - Switch side, crank side

Don't go too fast that your wee creature can't keep up! Go at a steady pace and you can light up all of the lightbulbs, resulting in a nice reward. No complaints!

Skipping - Switch bottom, crank side

Tap the switch on the bottom to make your creature jump, and use the crank to make him skip. Like the running wheel, you want to light up as many bulbs as possible to get best results.

Ring toss - Crank side, lever bottom

Spin that lever at the bottom, and then twist the crank on the side to rotate the three pillars, and try to get each of the rings to land on them to win prizes.

Cannon - Crank bottom, lever side

Spin the crank on the bottom to rotate the cannon, and then use the lever to shoot at the items on the shelf. Release the lever slowly to fire more than a single shot.

Balloon flight - Switch side, lever bottom

Ah this one is very fun. Slap the switch to pull out your wee guy, and then use the lever on the bottom to control the speed at which he elevates. Rotate and angle the entire house itself in order to steer yourself and avoid obstacles to get to the top level.

Nintendo Labo

Mine cart - Switch side, lever side

Classic Donkey Kong Country style stuff. Use the switch to jump, and use the lever to spin yourself up. Watch out, you won't get much warning when obstacles come up. Collect gems, avoid bombs!

Nintendo Labo

Bowling - Switch bottom, lever side

This is a great game. Slap the switch to set up your wee guy, and then use the lever to fling him down the alley. You can angle the house again in this game to direct him as he slides towards the pins.

Nintendo Labo

Candy shop - Switch side, crank bottom

Here you can turn your creature's unique pattern into a piece of candy. Sweet! Just spin him around on the crank and then use the switch to spray some goodness out of him.

Nintendo Labo

Microwave - Crank side, lever side

Here you can fuse all of the food and items you've collected into a delectable dish. Visit this after stocking up on food items from the other minigames, and then feed the resulting cupcake to him to change his coat pattern.
