Puzzle platformer Gris is truly a sight to behold in this new trailer
And it now has a release date
Gris, Nomada Studio’s stunning puzzle platformer, is officially heading to Nintendo Switch in early December. The game was announced this past summer and quickly gained attention for its lovely watercolor artwork. Now, publisher Devolver Digital has revealed the game’s release date alongside a remarkable new trailer.
The new trailer gives us a closer look at the game’s varied environments, as well as some of the skilled animation that went into the game. If Gris plays as well as it looks, we could have a real indie gem on our hands.
Gris tells the story of a young girl lost in her own thoughts after a troubling life experience. You’ll explore her subconscious as the story unfolds and the protagonist develops emotionally to cope with her painful past, with some puzzles and light platforming along the way.
Gris arrives on Nintendo Switch on December 13.
