Fortnite's getting its very own Nintendo Switch bundle

Nintendo’s releasing a Fortnite Nintendo Switch bundle, giving fans of the game added incentive to pick up the console if they haven’t done so already.

The new bundle comes with a standard bi-color Switch, along with a plethora of in-game bonuses. If you purchase the bundle, you’ll receive 1,000 V-bucks and the Double Helix Set, which includes an exclusive outfit, Back Bling, Glider, and Pickaxe. 1,000 V-bucks will currently set you back £7.99, and is enough to unlock the Battle Pass, which gives players access to Fortnite’s weekly challenges and premium items.

The Fortnite bundle is coming to stores on October 5 to the U.S. and Europe and will retail for $299.99. An official UK price is still pending. The bundle probably won’t have a whole lot of appeal to current Switch owners, but it’s a pretty smart move capitalizing on Fortnite’s incredible popularity on mobile and other platforms.
