Dragon Ball FighterZ's open beta is set to begin in the west this August
Plus some new multiplayer deets
Bandai took to Twitter today to confirm that the Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta will be headed westward this August. In the same tweet, the company also shared the Switch version’s new multiplayer features.
ANNOUNCEMENT: The #NintendoSwitch Open Beta test for #DragonBallFighterZ is scheduled to start in August. The game will be released on September 28th with new local multiplayer features: • 2v2 and 1v1 Match.

Players will be able to join in on 2v2 and 1v1 matches, as well as an offline 6-player Party Match mode. None of these gameplay modes are available in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC versions of the game, which already launched last January.
Dragon Ball FighterZ was announced for Nintendo Switch at E3 2018. Folks who pre-order the game get instant access to Goku and Vegeta SSGSS. We also know of two upcoming DLC characters so far - Base Vegeta and Base Gouk. The game launches on September 28 in the west.
