Dragon Ball FighterZ goes Super Saiyan on Nintendo Switch

Dragon Ball FighterZ, the much anticipated 2D fighting game for Nintendo Switch, is officially set to launch on September 28. Folks who pre-order the game will automatically gain access to Goku and Vegeta SSGSS. Not only that, early birds also receive a copy of the Japanese version of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, an SNES game that only released in Japan, France, and Spain.

We first got a look at the game in action on the Switch at E3 2018. Dragon Ball Fighter Z is a 2D brawler that looks pretty similar to the original Dragon Ball Z anime. The game features 3 vs. 3 battles, with the player carefully choosing from the pantheon of famous Dragon Ball Z characters to create a team that’s unstoppable.
