Crash Team Racing's zooming to Nintendo Switch in 2019

It's been an interesting couple of years for reboots and remasters, with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon taking centre stage. While we're not getting a Spyro Reignited Trilogy port on Nintendo Switch anytime soon, we do know that we'll be getting Crash Team Racing in 2019.

Any kid who played Crash Team Racing on PlayStation will have a soft spot for the game. For me, I would go to my best friend's house to play it - since she had CTR and I had Crash Bash - and we'd have hours of fun.

CTR is a racing game (duh) featuring Crash and his pals as they race through a series of courses. While there is a plot, technically, you're really just in it for the racing and have to rely on your mad kart skills and clever use of power-ups to come out best of the bunch.

Like N. Sane Trilogy, CTR is getting a huge graphical remaster, all original game modes, and online play for those with Switch Online memberships. While it's also coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it'll be launching on Nintendo Switch on June 21st, 2019.
