Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is getting true co-op in a free update
Plus paid DLC with new levels
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is one of the best puzzle games ever, and on Switch it's being made even better, thanks to a new update providing true co-op play.
For the price of absolutely nothing, you and a friend will be able to play through every single level in the game in local co-op, rather than just having one person playing along with a pointer and turnips. Heck yes!
Plus, there's new stages coming in the form of paid DLC, which will again be totally playable in co-op. That's coming on March 14th, and you can pre-order it right now (providing "right now" is "after the Direct has ended").
The free update is also coming after the Direct ends, so make sure you've got your Switch in hand to get that downloaded ASAP. And we'll let you know whether the DLC is any cop in March.
