Animal Crossing: New Horizons has had a whole host of new updates recently, and the fun just keeps going. Earlier in the Summer we had an impressive update which saw the seas themselves fill out, and now we've got even more.

But perhaps the biggest addition for veteran Animal Crossing fans is the Dream Suite and the addition of Luna, a mystical tapir who can take you to magical places.

It's not obvious at first, but simple once you know how, and if you want to visit new places with the Dream Suite, you just need to follow our guide right here and you'll soon know exactly what you must do.

So just read on for the explanation on what the Dream Suite is, how to find it, and how you can use it to visit new places…

What is the Dream Suite?

The Dream Suite is a mystical room which will allow you to visit unique "dreams." A dream is, essentially, an online clone of someone's Animal Crossing: New Horizons town. You can look around, visit, and investigate their decor, even when they're not online.

This is great because if you know someone who is a particularly great designer, you can visit their town without them having to boot up their game online. This includes streamers and influencers, if they want to share their code.

Can you imagine visiting the island of Danny Trejo? Like, no matter what you think of him personally, you're a little curious, right? And now it's possible…

How to find Luna in the Dream Suite

Luna is located inside the Dream Suite, and getting there is simple, but I won't blame you if you couldn't find it immediately - it's not exactly some building you set up…

Luna will vaguely explain herself in a letter which includes a bed, but basically, you must go to bed. Now when you jump into bed, you'll be given the option to sleep, which takes you to the Dream Suite.

Inside you will have Luna visit you and give you all of the Dream Suite options. It really is that simple, and since Luna sends you a bed, you have no excuse for not visiting her.

Visiting other dreams

This is going to be the main draw for many people - being able to visit the dreams of others, and as long as others are willing to share their DA codes, you will be able to visit them at any time.

But unfortunately, there is no "Dream browser" or anything of the sort. Instead there is simply an option to input a code, so you'll need to find a code from a friend online, or look out for codes from people you follow.

To get you started though, you can have my own DA code - though my island is a mess right now, please don't expect much…

Letting others visit your dream

Luna will also give you the option of uploading your own dream, and of course she'll have a lot of spiel to go through regarding online functionality before she gets to the point. Yawn.

Long story short, you can upload your own island data once per day, and the most recently uploaded data will be used for others to visit via the code you share.

If you're regularly improving your island and making adjustments, I recommend only updating your Dream Suite save data at the end of the day, so the most recent version of your island is available online.
