Initially debuted at this morning's Switch presentation, ARMS gets a more in-depth exploration at this afternoon's Treehouse Live livestream and, jeez, it looks good.

ARMS is a PvP fighting game where you and your opponent have extendable arms. The game makes use of the Switch's Joy-Con motion-sensitive controllers in its actions, letting you tilt forward, back, and side-to-side to move. The 'L' and 'R' buttons are also comfortably located to be used naturally.

Punching in-game takes on more of a Wii approach as you punch by, well, punching - and twist to curve your punches. Punching with both hands at the same time lets you grab your foe and pull them toward you for a powerful attack.

Obviously, that's not all that the game offers. Aside from special attacks, combos, and different character abilities, you can also chose your gloves at the beginning of the match, mixing in a little bit of strategy with your casual fighting rules. That's a really nice touch.

ARMS is so far slated for launch in 'Spring 2017', most likely close to the Switch's release.
